THE HOME OF BRISTOL PIE SOCIETY

The Gloucester Old Spot, formerly The Kellaway Arms, reopened under its new name in 2014 following an extensive refurbishment by owner Amy.

Amy didn’t just change the name, she transformed the whole feel of the place, creating a warm, family-friendly pub known for relaxed vibes, great food and genuinely friendly service.

A couple of years later, Amy met Phil, now her husband, business partner and dad to their two children. Hospitality has always been a huge part of both their lives, and over the years The Old Spot has become very much a family business.

AN IDEA WAS BORN

It was here that Amy and Phil launched their original Lockdown Pies in 2021, and it’s where the idea for Bristol Pie Society was eventually born.

The Old Spot is all about proper home-cooked food, Sunday roasts, a brilliant garden, weddings, parties, live music and, above all, bringing people together.

It’s also the home of Bristol Pie Society and where you’ll be able to collect your pie boxes each month.
